King Diamond is well known for his themes of the occult and demonic stories, as well as his drive towards atmospheric horror scenarios and changing masks. King Diamond's eleventh studio album 'The Puppet Master' was released in 2003. The album tells a gruesome story about a young couple lured into becoming living puppets for evil puppeteers in 18th-century Budapest. Featuring signature high-pitched vocals, atmospheric keyboards, and catchy riffs, the album is known for its intricate narrative and theatrical metal style and is often considered a highlight of King Diamond's later work.
